Hatteras 1510 Club Offers Our Condolences
It is with great sadness that I must notify our membership of Sam Shafer’s passing. Sam & Mary Shafer were original Hatteras 1510 members, joining our club in its infancy.
Known as “The Dean of The ICW” Sam, along with his Wife and Co-Captain/1st Mate of 50 years, Mary, made many – many trips up and down the Intercoastal Water Way from Annapolis to Florida. Both boating enthusiast also took their 53 on “The Great Loop” a few years back. <continued here>
